I usually wear this coat whenever I have those, “Oh, geez, this outfit again?” moment, and need to wear something to snap me out of a fashion rut. It is one of my favorite coats. I found SoHung Designs while shopping at the Young Designers Market when it was formerly held every weekend in a church. It has since relocated to Bleeker Street. It’s a fitted wool coat with undulating strips of fabric layering the outside, and a mermaid’s tail of sorts consisting of circles and strips. I feel like a rockstar when I wear this coat. Everyone needs something that makes them feel like a rockstar in their closet. What’s yours?

I have my mother's green shag coat from the 60s. I'll wear it with a long slim dress, and i'm like floating the rest of the night. Thanks mom!
