Good flats are hard to find, so imagine my excitement when I saw three in Garnet Hill’s new collection for spring 2013. 1. Acorn Contrast Mary Jane Slippers, $78 – When are slippers ever cute? Come on! These have Mary Jane straps! 2. Floral Cut-Out Ballet Shoes, $99 – Perfect in gold, these would be great to jazz up jeans and t-shirt. 3. Prima Ankle-Wrap Ballet Flats, $118 – I love the look and function of flats but find I walk much faster when a strap holds my foot in without fear of flying out of my shoes! I also think slender ankle-wraps make for a super attractive ankle. Available at Garnet Hill beginning January 9th.

I'm a big fan of straps too. I can't tell you how many times I've walked out of my shoe. So embarrassing!
